The 19th edition of Dünya Newspaper Turkish Foreign Investments Panel, attended by Turkish companies investing in North Rhine-Westphalia, was held this year. Safa Bayar Yavuz, Member of the Board of Directors of ASAŞ, who is among the panel participants, emphasized that choosing Germany is a necessity in order to be close to customers.

Birol Büyüksivri, Human Resources, R&D and Strategic Planning Director, received the certificate given by Ömer Burhanoğlu, Member of the Board of Directors of the Turkish Exporters Assembly, at the Inosuit Project certification ceremony held on December 7, 2017 as part of the Turkey Innovation and Entrepreneurship Week.

The kick-off meeting of the Mat4Rail project, which was included in the HORIZON 2020 Shift to Rail program, which also included ASAŞ in the past months, was held in San Sebastian / Spain on October 4-5.

ASAŞ received 2 awards at the same time at the Metallic Stars of Export Award Ceremony organized by the Istanbul Ferrous and Non-Ferrous Metals Exporters' Association (IDDMIB).

Derya Hatiboğlu became the new General Manager of ASAŞ, which has shown a successful growth chart with its investments that have steered the sector since its establishment in 1990 and ranked 79th in the top 100 in ISO 500 in 2016.
